partial menisectomy, when will she get arthritis? help!?

partial menisectomy, when will she get arthritis? help!?my sister had partial menisectomy, the doc said she had about 70 to 75% of her lateral meniscus removed because she had a bucket handle tear and it was over 10 months she had it. .....so rigth now...after she recovers...can she still do a lot of sports? because shes always active.

2. wont doing too much sports at age 8 start to wear out her knee? because shes 8 and lil girls like to play alot

3. when can she see signs of arthritis? like in how many years?

4. anyone ever had this?

It will depend on her. My sister had something similar and she is perfectly fine without any additional complications.
