My mom has severe back problems what can help?Ever since she was in her early to middle twenties she had problems with her back. Arthritis, osteoporosis and scoliosis. She had a pain pump put in and the doctor has her on methadone for pain management. Still to this day she complains of her back hurting, what can be done? They up her medicine all the time in the pump. Nothings working. Please Help.

What about pressure points? Has she tried that? There is online sites that you can go on that teaches you the pressure points in your body to alleviate all sorts of ailments. Anyone can do it and so can you. There is a website that even has a chart.

Hi............Ask her to talk to the doctor about swimming......I've got a friend who's gone thru the same thing and he started swimming in the waters where he lives and it's quite something to see him now. Has a great build and walks very easily again. And he suffered for years. It won't be easy for a little while........but it just might work. All the best...also try a little ice to see if it will take the swelling away....
