Chronic inflammation of body tissues, is this a disease?If a person has chronic inflammation of different parts of their bodies, is this a disease that can be treated? I know arthritis is inflammation of joints, but this is soft tissue, like ears, bowel, organs, throat, etc. Also, if this is a syndrome or disease, what is the treatment? Is it hereditary?

depends on what is causing the inflammation, and rheumatoid arthritis does affect tissues other than bone and joint tissues.
