Does anyone have experience with dog acupuncture?My 11 year old peke has very bad arthritis and I wanted to know if anyone had any information about this treatment!

my dog had disc problems and difficulty walking. accupuncture helped a great deal (both in terms of pain relief and improving his ability to walk) but it becomes quite expensive for repeated treatments.
i'd say it's definitely worth the expense though just to see if it works to begin with. i saw some immediate improvement after his first visit, but it was more like 3- 4 visits after that when he was at his best. then he really needed to go once a week or so to maintain the benefit of his treatment. but his back was in very bad condition. treating arthritis may not be as rigorous.
